Fatal Train Collision in Egypt’s Sharqiya Province Claims Lives and Injures Dozens


Zagazig City – A severe train collision in Sharqiya Province, north of Cairo, resulted in at least two fatalities and 29 injuries on Saturday, according to official reports from Egypt’s Ministry of Health.



According to Namibia Press Agency, the incident, which occurred in Zagazig City, prompted the deployment of 39 ambulances to the scene to assist the victims and manage the crisis. The Ministry of Health’s statement emphasized that the reported numbers are preliminary and that rescue operations were ongoing at the time of the report.



The Ministry also highlighted the urgency and scale of the response, indicating a significant effort to provide immediate medical assistance and support to those affected by the collision.
