Faso mªbo: The Ministry of Digital Transition, Posts and Electronic Communication (MTDPCE), led by Dr. Aminata Zerbo/Sabane, has provided the Faso Mªbo Agency with a digital platform on Wednesday to manage and track donations effectively. The donation package also includes 10 laptops, 5 smartphones, 20 tons of cement, and 80 tons of granite.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the platform, named “Sereya,” was developed at an estimated cost of 17,710,501 FCFA. It was designed to promote transparent management and rigorous monitoring of material and financial contributions. “Sereya” facilitates the traceability of donations, real-time inventory tracking, automated report generation, visualization of achievements, and integration with the national payment platform Faso Arzeka.
“Sereya,” translating to “accountability” in the Dioula language, serves as a digital interface between the Faso Mªbo Agency and donors. It allows donors to track the receipt and utilization of their contributions. Dr. Aminata Zerbo/Sabane emphasized the role of digital technology as a lever for transparency, accountability, and trust between the State and its citizens, expressing hope that this initiative would inspire further contributions and strengthen citizen engagement in national priorities.
Captain Nagalo Achille, head of the logistics department and representing the Director General of the Faso Mªbo Agency, expressed gratitude to the ministry for the donation. He highlighted the gesture as a strong political signal and a commitment to nurturing hardworking youth, useful skills, and responsible national production. He noted that the donation serves as a strategic lever for consolidating technical and operational autonomy and stressed the responsibility and duty to achieve results with the mobilized resources.
