Ouagadougou: The "Faso Kanou-Se-Antaiy©" Association made a payment of 310,000 FCFA to the Burkinabe treasury on Thursday, representing its contribution to the Patriotic Support Fund (FSP) established by the authorities to support efforts to defend and secure the territory.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the Association "Faso Kanou-Se-Antaiy©" (which translates to "love for the fatherland is a strength" in French) credited the treasury account intended for the Patriotic Support Fund with 300,000 FCFA on Thursday, July 10, 2025, in Ouagadougou. This contribution aims to support the Burkinabe authorities in their fight against terrorism.
The president of the association, Ousmane Drabo, stated that the initiative of his organization is a response to the patriotic call of the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor©, whom he described as a guide. "Our association has raised money to help our guide, Captain Ibrahim Traor©, and all the fighting forces in their mission of reconquest and national sovereignty," he emphasized.
Mr. Drabo further expressed that this gesture signifies the association's unwavering support for the President of Faso, who is seen as a bearer of significant initiatives for the country's development. He remarked, "President Thomas Sankara initiated 'Faso-Bara', today with Captain Traor© we are talking about 'Faso-M©bo' and we are also ready to support this initiative which aims, among other things, to open up the cities and countryside of Burkina."
The president of the "Faso Kanou-Se-Antaiy©" association also urged the people of Burkina Faso to unite in sacred order and discipline around the authorities to build the nation. Founded in 2024, the 'Faso Kanou-Se-Antaiy©' Association, which consists of more than 312 members, prioritizes raising awareness among young Burkinabe and African people through its initiatives.
