According to Burkina Information Agency, the Tigres de Diarradougou have struggled throughout the season, currently positioned 15th out of 16 teams after the weekend's matches. The young and dynamic players of Rahimo FC, who have already secured their second consecutive championship, dominated the game, leaving RCB unable to recover in the standings.

With only 27 points and a goal difference of -15, RCB is five points adrift of EFO, the first team outside the relegation zone, which sits at 32 points. With just one match left in the season, the gap is insurmountable, confirming RCB's relegation to Ligue 2.
