Nairobi:The Communications Authority of Kenya’s (CA) Board of Directors has made public the departure of Mr. Ezra Chiloba from his role as Director General. As noted by the Kenya News Agency, a statement disseminated by CA detailed that Mr. Chiloba tendered his resignation to the Chairperson of the CA Board, Ms. Mary Mungai, on the 18th of October, 2023.

Ms. Mungai, the CA Board Chairperson, expressed gratitude for Mr. Chiloba’s contributions to the institution and the broader ICT sector. In her words, “On behalf of the Authority, I wish the outgoing Director General success in his future endeavours.” Mr. Chiloba had helmed the position of CA Director General for a duration of two years, following his appointment in October 2021.
