Expo-U­ge 2025 to Host 185 National Companies in July

U­ge: At least 185 national companies from various sectors are set to participate in Expo-U­ge/2025, scheduled from July 3 to 7 this year. The event is part of the celebrations marking the 108th anniversary of the founding of the city of U­ge and the 50th anniversary of National Independence.



According to Angola Press News Agency, Carlos Calas, president of CCalas Angola, the organizing company, stated that this edition will include companies from agriculture, commerce, industry, IT, crafts, machinery, and health equipment sectors. This year’s Expo will see an increase of 10 companies compared to the 2024 edition, incorporating businesses from seven newly created municipalities under the New Political-Administrative Division.



Calas further mentioned that companies from the provinces of Malanje, Cuanza-Norte, Huambo, Benguela, and Cabinda will also participate. The assembly work on the exhibition spacecraft is nearing completion.



Additionally, Eduardo Jos© Manuel, the deputy coordinator of the U­ge festivities, revealed that alongside the 185 companies inside the exhibition tent, 500 stalls would be set up for stallholders. These stalls will offer products such as potatoes, bananas, cassava, beans, and vegetables for attendees who prefer natural food products.
