Ndalatando: Expo/Cuanza-Norte2025, a four-day event held to commemorate the 69th anniversary of Ndalatando, achieved a significant turnover exceeding 700 million kwanzas. The event successfully showcased various sectors, contributing to the economic vitality of the region.
According to Angola Press News Agency, the event was organized by a company led by Carlos Calas and featured 220 exhibitors. The fair drew more than 18,000 visitors, facilitating the sale of approximately 80 tons of agricultural products. The event covered a sprawling area of 25,000 square meters and included participation from exhibitors across multiple provinces, including Luanda, Cabinda, Namibe, Uge, Malanje, Huambo, Benguela, and all 17 municipalities of Cuanza-Norte.
The expo not only highlighted the agricultural and machinery sectors but also provided a much-needed economic boost by creating 550 indirect and temporary jobs. This initiative underscores the growing importance of regional expos in fostering economic development and promoting local industries.
