Ethnolinguistic Minorities Celebrated at Norbert Zongo University: A Focus on Wara

Koudougou: Norbert Zongo University (UNZ) marked an important turning point on June 21 by hosting the first edition of its Scientific and Cultural Day dedicated to the promotion of ethnolinguistic minorities, with a particular focus on the Wara community.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event was organized in collaboration with the Association for the Promotion of African Languages (APLA) and was unanimously hailed as an initiative for the preservation and promotion of Burkina Faso's rich cultural diversity. The presence of Professor Eug©nie Maga, President of Norbert Zongo University, and the Vice President for Professionalization and University-Business Relations (VP/PRUE), underscored the strong institutional commitment to this vital cause.

Under the leadership of an organizing committee composed of Dr. Abel Ou©draogo (President), Dr. Roland Bicaba (Vice-President), and Dr. ‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬€š¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬¦¡¬¦¡¬°douard Sobzanga Sawadogo (Member), the event featured a series of academic and cultural sessions.
