Addis Ababa: Gedion Timothewos, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, held a discussion with the Chairperson of the African Union Commission (AUC), Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, focusing on the preparations for the upcoming Africa Climate Summit and the Africa-CARICOM Summit. Ethiopia is set to co-host these significant events alongside the AU Commission.
According to Ethiopian News Agency, the meeting highlighted the shared commitment of both parties to strengthen their collaboration. The Foreign Minister and the Chairperson emphasized the necessity of inclusive planning, collective ownership, and strategic coherence to ensure the success of the summits.
