Washington: Ethiopian Ambassador to America, Binalef Andualem held talks with former Congressman Jack Kingston and Senator Ted Cruz at the Ethiopian Embassy in Washington, D.C.



According to Ethiopian News Agency, Ambassador Binalef initially had a meeting with former Congressman Jack Kingston, where they exchanged ideas to enhance the relationship between Ethiopia and the United States. Their discussion centered on strategies to foster better collaboration between Congress and the Administration.



The Ambassador appreciated the Congressman’s knowledge of and affection for Ethiopia, recognizing the potential for this passion to drive positive outcomes in U.S.-Ethiopian relations.



Similarly, Ambassador Binalef met with Senator Ted Cruz, who chairs the Africa subcommittee of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. This meeting, their second, underscored a commitment to ongoing communication. The two sides exchanged views on the work of the Africa subcommittee and its role in enhancing U.S.-Africa relations.



They also expressed a desire to collaborate more closely to strengthen the bilateral relationship between the United States and Ethiopia. Their discussions focused on key areas of mutual interest and the potential for increased cooperation across various sectors.
