Ethiopian Prime Minister Engages in Diplomatic Discussions at AU Summit

ADDIS ABABA - Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed of Ethiopia conducted several high-level bilateral meetings with African leaders and international partners on the sidelines of the 37th African Union Summit. Among the leaders he met were President Paul Kagame of Rwanda and President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo of Equatorial Guinea.

According to Ethiopian News Agency, these discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relationships and exploring development projects. Additionally, Prime Minister Abiy engaged with Muhammad Al Jasser, President of the Islamic Development Bank, to discuss potential development initiatives, underscoring Ethiopia's commitment to fostering diplomatic and development-oriented partnerships within and beyond the African continent.
