Ethiopian PM’s Office Hands Over ‘Dine for Ethiopia’ Projects to Regional Administrations


ADDIS ABABA — The Office of the Prime Minister has officially transferred the ‘Dine for Ethiopia’ projects to regional authorities in Amhara, Oromia, and South West Ethiopia, while also finalizing a management deal with Ethiopian Airlines for the operation of the project’s lodges.



According to Ethiopian News Agency, the transfer and signing ceremony represent a significant advancement in the ‘Dine for Ethiopia’ initiative, which includes the Halala Kella Lodge, Chebera Churchura Elephant Paw Lodge, and Wonchi Eco Lodge, with the Gorgora project soon to follow. The initiative aims to enhance tourism and economic development through innovative management and infrastructure enhancements, reflecting a key component of the national economic reform program. Ethiopian Airlines will manage these lodges under its Skylight Hotel brand, aiming to boost international tourism and service quality.
