ADDIS ABABA – The Ethiopian government has made significant strides in ensuring the country’s prosperity and safeguarding its national interests over the past six years, according to the Government Communication Service. Minister Legesse Tulu, in a media briefing, outlined the success of the reformist leadership in addressing Ethiopia’s longstanding issues and promoting peace and national unity.
According to Ethiopian News Agency, The government’s efforts include implementing a transitional justice policy, fostering political participation, and establishing independent institutions like the National Election Board of Ethiopia and the Ethiopian Human Rights Commission. Additionally, the government’s commitment to economic reform has led to substantial growth, with achievements in agriculture and environmental initiatives enhancing Ethiopia’s international reputation. The government has also focused on resolving conflicts through dialogue and strengthening Ethiopia’s diplomatic relations to protect its interests on the regional and international stage.
