Naypyidaw - Ambassador Daba Debele, Ethiopia's envoy to Myanmar, has formally presented his letters of credentials to U Than Swe, Myanmar's Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs.
According to Ethiopian News Agency, during the credential ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister U Than Swe extended his congratulations to Ambassador Daba on his appointment as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ethiopia to Myanmar, with a residence in Tokyo, Japan. This event marks a significant step in diplomatic relations between Ethiopia and Myanmar as both nations seek to deepen their engagement.
The meeting between Ambassador Daba and Deputy Prime Minister U Than Swe also served as a platform for discussing the strengthening of existing bilateral relations between Myanmar and Ethiopia.
