Ethiopian Airlines Expands with New Flight Destination to Hyderabad, India

NEW DELHI — Ethiopian Airlines Group is set to enhance its connectivity with India by launching its fifth flight destination in the country, adding three weekly flights to and from Hyderabad. This expansion follows a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with the Indian Ministry of Civil Aviation on July 30, 2024.

According to Ethiopian News Agency, the MoU will increase the weekly flight capacity between Ethiopia and India from 35 to 38 services in each direction. This enhancement is part of Ethiopian Airlines' ongoing strategy to broaden its global network and strengthen ties with significant markets like India.

Ethiopian Airlines, noted for its rapid growth and status as Africa's largest airline brand, has been operating for seventy-eight years and has established itself as a leader in the continent's aviation industry. The airline boasts the youngest and most modern fleet in Africa, serving over 150 domestic and international passenger and cargo destinations across five continents.
