ADDIS ABABA – Zlatan Milisic has officially assumed his role as the World Food Programme Representative and Country Director for Ethiopia, following the presentation of his credentials to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Director General of Protocol Affairs at Ethiopia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Melaku Bedada, received Milisic’s credentials.
According to the Ethiopian News Agency, the World Food Programme (WFP), recognized as the largest humanitarian organization globally, partners with governments, NGOs, and other UN agencies. It aims to save lives in emergencies and utilize food assistance to support recovery from conflict, natural disasters, and the impacts of climate change, fostering peace, stability, and prosperity.
