Ethiopia Stresses Importance of Regional Peace for Economic Integration

ADDIS ABABA — At a forum today, Peace Minister Binalf Andualem highlighted the critical role of regional peace and security in achieving economic integration. The event, organized by the Ethiopian News Agency (ENA) in collaboration with the Ministry of Peace and Ethiopian Electric Power, focused on “Regional Peace and Solidarity for Sustainable Economic Integration”. Andualem emphasized Ethiopia’s historical role in promoting peace and its ongoing efforts to mediate conflicts and contribute to peacekeeping operations.

According to Ethiopian News Agency, Ethiopia’s commitment to regional stability is essential not only for the country’s peace but for its economic integration efforts as well. Plans were announced to extend the dialogue by including participants from neighboring countries, aiming to foster a peaceful and economically unified region.
