ADDIS ABABA — Ethiopia’s commitment to peacefully resolving regional conflicts was reaffirmed by the State Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mesganu Arga, during a BRICS deputy foreign ministers meeting focusing on Middle East and North Africa issues.
According to Ethiopian News Agency, Ethiopia continues to advocate for diplomacy, dialogue, and respecting national sovereignty as the means to address conflicts. He emphasized the importance of restraint and de-escalation to prevent regional and potentially global crises.
The State Minister highlighted the necessity of effective preventive diplomacy as a core strategy in managing multiple crises, stressing the significance of maintaining peace and stability in the region through cooperative and diplomatic efforts.
