ADDIS ABABA: Ethiopia and Turkey held the 7th Political Consultation today to explore new avenues for cooperation on bilateral, regional, and multilateral issues of mutual interest.

According to Ethiopian News Agency, the discussion was led by State Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, Mesganu Arga, and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, Prof. Burhanettin Duran. Both parties emphasized the need to further strengthen political and economic collaboration between the two countries. The session also assessed the implementation of several trade and investment agreements between Ethiopia and Turkey.
