Ethiopia and South Sudan Discuss Infrastructure Projects to Enhance Connectivity


ADDIS ABABA – In a meeting aimed at bolstering bilateral ties, Ethiopia’s Ambassador to South Sudan, Nebil Mahdi, and South Sudan’s newly appointed Finance and Planning Minister, Wow Daniel Chuang, discussed several critical infrastructure projects.



According to Ethiopian News Agency, the focus of the discussions was on improving road connectivity and electric infrastructure to promote economic and social development between the two countries. Minister Chuang expressed his dedication to fast-tracking the initiation of a road project designed to connect Ethiopia with South Sudan, a venture stemming from an agreement signed in May 2023.
