Ethiopia and Jordan Pledge to Boost Tourism Cooperation

Addis Ababa - In a move to strengthen bilateral ties, Ethiopia and Jordan have agreed to enhance their cooperation in the tourism sector. This agreement was reached during discussions between Ethiopia's Tourism Minister Nasise Chali and her Jordanian counterpart, Makram Mustafa Queisi.

According to Ethiopian News Agency,both nations aim to capitalize on their historical, cultural, and religious connections to bolster tourism. The ministers outlined plans for collaboration in investment, destination promotion, tourism package preparation, and capacity building within the sector.

Minister Nasise Chali expressed her optimism about the potential of this partnership to elevate the long-standing relations between the two countries. On the other hand, Jordan's Minister Makram Mustafa Queisi reaffirmed his country's commitment to strengthening various areas of cooperation in tourism, emphasizing the strong and historic bonds that exist between Jordan and Ethiopia.
