ORAN, Algeria — Ethiopia is actively working to bolster its economic relationships with Algeria, aiming to attract more investment from the North African nation. The Ethiopian Embassy in Algiers participated in the Oran Invest Expo, which took place from March 4 to 7, 2024, showcasing the investment opportunities Ethiopia has to offer to Algerian investors.
According to Ethiopian News Agency, During the expo, Ethiopia’s Ambassador to Algeria, Nebiat Getachew, presented to over 20 companies, offering in-depth insights into Ethiopia’s investment climate and the recent economic reforms undertaken by the government. The session featured a dynamic Q&A, allowing companies to delve into specifics about investment prospects, especially within the manufacturing sector.
Ambassador Getachew extended invitations to the participants for the upcoming Invest Ethiopia 2024 conference, scheduled from April 28 to 30, 2024, in Addis Ababa. This conference, organized by the Ethiopian Investment Commission, represents a significant effort by Ethiopia to foster stronger bilateral economic relations and attract foreign investment.
