MILAN – A pivotal Ethio-Italy Investment and Business Forum concluded its two-day event in Milan, focusing on enhancing investment and business relations between Ethiopia and Italy.

According to Ethiopian News Agency, The forum, organized by the Ethiopian Embassy in Italy, took place from July 18 to 19, 2024, and featured presentations on Ethiopia’s investment potential and the country’s improved investment policies. Deputy Commissioner Dagato Kumbe highlighted the various opportunities available to Italian investors, including new incentives and sectors recently opened to foreign investment. The Ethiopian Investment Commission reported that alongside the presentations, business-to-business (B2B) engagements were held, fostering direct dialogues between Ethiopian and Italian business leaders. Additionally, the delegation conducted site visits to Italian companies and extended invitations for Italian investors to explore investment opportunities in Ethiopia firsthand.
