Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has declared that Turkey has no plans to further develop its ties with Israel. Speaking to journalists during his flight from Azerbaijan to Turkey, Erdogan emphasized that the government will not pursue the continuation or development of relations with Israel. According to Namibia Press Agency, Erdogan stated that Turkey currently has no trade relations with Israel and has no intention of establishing them. This statement comes after Turkey suspended trade with Israel in May, following Israeli military actions in Gaza. Erdogan has consistently criticized these actions and called for a stronger international response to protect Palestinian civilians. Turkey's support for Palestinians has been a prominent aspect of Erdogan's foreign policy. He has often underscored this commitment, positioning it as a crucial element of Turkey's international stance.
