Omusati: The Omusati Governor, Erginus Endjala, has expressed his deepfelt condolences following the passing of Founding President Sam Shafiishuna Nujoma. Nujoma died at age 95 late Saturday night.

According to Namibia Press Agency, Endjala told Nampa on Sunday that as a nation they are mourning a hero, a gallant fighter of their revolution, their commander and chief of the People’s Liberation Army of Namibia (PLAN). “We are deeply touched by his passing, but at the same time we are celebrating a life well lived. Ninety-five years of age, it’s indeed a blessing, I therefore urge all Namibians, and the Omusati residents, the region where our Founding Father hailed from in particular, to mourn and pay our last respects to our fallen hero, in peace and unity as the guide that will pull us together as a nation,” he said.

jala expanded his heartfelt condolences, also on behalf of the residents of Omusati, to the Nujoma family and the entire Namibia nation.
