Eleven Komondjari Province Residents Honored for National Service

FADA N’GOURMA: Eleven individuals from the Komondjari province were decorated for their significant contributions to the nation during a ceremony held in the Eastern Governorate of Fada N’Gourma. This event coincided with the 64th anniversary of Burkina Faso’s independence.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the honorees received various distinctions recognizing their efforts and dedication to national service. The awards included three medals in the Order of the Stallion, with one recipient elevated to the rank of Officer and two to the rank of Knight. Additionally, four individuals were awarded medals in the Order of Merit, and four others received the Honour of Local Authorities.

At the ceremony, the regional governor paid homage to the fallen heroes who defended the homeland, extended wishes for a swift recovery to the wounded, and called on the public to enhance social cohesion and strengthen their patriotic resolve to combat the challenges confronting the nation.
