Educational Supervisors Gather in Gaoua for Capacity Building Conclave

Gaoua: Educational supervisors in conclave for capacity building. The president of the special delegation of the commune of Gaoua, Siaka Ouattara, chaired, this Wednesday morning, the opening ceremony of the annual conference of primary school educational supervisors, held in the amphitheater of the INFPE of Djoro. Under the theme “Implementation of educational reforms and appropriation of integration situations”, the opening ceremony brought together several educational officials, including the regional and provincial directors of preschool, basic primary and non-formal education, as well as the head of the basic education district (CCEB) of Gaoua.

According to Burkina Information Agency, after reading the speech of the Minister of National Education, Literacy and Promotion of National Languages, Mr. Ouattara welcomed the commitment of educational stakeholders to the effective implementation of reforms aimed at improving the quality of education. For the CCEB of Gaoua, Moutombou Some, this year’s conference is distinguished by an assessment of the reforms already undertaken, in particular those relating to the introduction of ICT, trades, and English in the education system, the encouraging results of which have encouraged their generalization.

“Our expectations at the end of this conference are that teachers will be better equipped to master curriculum content, pedagogical planning and the use of teaching sheets, with a view to improving the quality of teaching in the classroom,” he said. The conference will continue until October 18, 2025.
