The Ministry of Education, the French Federation of Clubs for UNESCO and the Tunisian Federation of Clubs for the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO)and the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) agreed on the implementation of joint projects in several fields, during a meeting on Monday between the Minister of Education Mohamed Ali Boughdiri, a delegation of the French federation led by its president Ardiouma Sirima and members of the Tunisian federation.
According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Education, these projects are in the areas of environmental protection and natural resources, education for citizenship, treatment of the phenomenon of school dropout and the fight against violence in schools, dissemination of digital culture and the use of social media wisely, in addition to investment in artificial intelligence and the knowledge society and the exchange of expertise through virtual and face-to-face meetings between students in both countries.
The meeting also focused on the creation of Unesco Clubs in schools and the forthcoming signing of a tripartite partnership agreement.
