Béré: The Minister of Security, Mahamadou Sana, inaugurated a newly constructed building with six offices and a boundary wall for the Béré police station in Zoundwéogo province. The project, completed at a cost of 105 million FCFA, was funded by Hamidou Ouédraogo, the Chairman and CEO of the Ramadan group, also known as Hamidou Carreaux. According to Burkina Information Agency, the construction was initiated at the request of the students and pupils of the commune of Béré. Minister Sana praised the initiative as a testament to the growing sense of patriotism among the Burkinabe people. He expressed the government's gratitude to Ouédraogo and encouraged other affluent citizens to emulate such contributions. The Minister also addressed some grievances from the local residents, promising government intervention. Hamidou Ouédraogo emphasized the importance of security as a collective responsibility and expressed his commitment to supporting his country and the residents of Béré, who are his maternal relatives. O uédraogo also paid homage to President Ibrahim Traoré for instilling patriotism among the Burkinabe people. Jules Tapsoba, the executive secretary of the West African Tax Administrations Forum, expressed his honor in sponsoring the inauguration and highlighted the importance of the new infrastructure for police operations and public service access. Tapsoba also called for similar initiatives in sectors like roads, health, and education. The beneficiaries of the new infrastructure pledged to collaborate with the community to enhance security in Béré.
