Addis Ababa: The Economic Commission for Africa (ECA), Executive Secretary, Claver Gatete and Younous Omarjee, Vice President of the European Parliament and a joint EU delegation. Talks focused on advancing European Union (EU) – Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) cooperation via value chains, investment, integrated data systems and modernizing trade infrastructure, particularly ports.
According to Ethiopian News Agency, the vice-president of the European Parliament is in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia for a working visit and he conferred with Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gedion Timothewos yesterday.
