ADDIS ABABA — The 15th annual general meeting of the East African Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities (EAAACA) is currently taking place in Addis Ababa, hosted by the Federal Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission of Ethiopia.
According to Ethiopian News Agency, the conference focuses on “Coordination, Collaboration and Corporation in Asset Recovery and the Fight against Corruption,” bringing together representatives from member states to enhance regional efforts against corruption. During the meeting, discussions have centered on improving asset recovery processes and collaborative measures to combat corruption. Transparency and accountable governance were highlighted as critical elements in these efforts.
