Members of the Provincial Organised Crime together with Crime Intelligence have arrested two suspects aged 22 and 23 for dealing and possession of drugs, on Thursday, 13 July 2023.
According to the reports, the team received a tip-off which they swiftly reacted and managed to arrest two suspects who were caught selling drugs at Paledi mall next to the taxi rank.
Upon searching them, they were found in possession of 60 Heroine sachets at a value of R2000 and Crystal Meth at a value of R6000. They were then, arrested on the spot.
The Provincial Commissioner of the South African Police Service in Limpopo Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has welcomed the arrest and praised community members for continuously providing valuable information to the police, wherein criminals are arrested and removed within the society.
The suspects will appear before Mankweng Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 17 July 2023.
