Bougouriba: Dr. Issouf Banao, director of the Dandie pharmacy in Diebougou and recipient of the 'Regional Merit Award', presented by the National Confederation of Culture, recently presented his award to the governor of the Djoro region, Siaka Barro, and the local population. This presentation took place during the solemn regional raising of the national colors organized in Diebougou.
According to Burkina Information Agency, this distinction was awarded to Dr. Issouf Banao during the 6th edition of the National Confederation of Culture's cultural season opening held in Bobo-Dioulasso. The award acknowledges his dedication and contributions to the cultural sector's development in the Djoro region.
The official presentation of the prize occurred in front of administrative authorities, constituted bodies of the region and province, and the vital forces of Bougouriba, assembled for the traditional raising of the national colors at the High Commission of Diebougou.
