DPESFPT Initiates BEPC 2025 Sports Events in Sourou

Sourou: The Provincial Director of Secondary Education, Vocational and Technical Training officially launched, on Tuesday, the physical and sports tests of the BEPC, 2025 session. The event was marked by the presence of Joseph Karambiri, the Provincial Director, along with Pierre Zan, head of examinations and competitions, in Tougan, Sourou. The launch took place at the second site of the Tougan provincial high school, witnessed by several examiners and a supervisor of the physical and sports tests.



According to Burkina Information Agency, Joseph Karambiri highlighted that a total of 1049 candidates, comprising 609 girls and 440 boys, are eligible for this session. These candidates have been organized into ten commissions distributed across four different sites. Karambiri expressed satisfaction with the commencement of the sporting events amidst the current circumstances in Sourou province.



Karambiri stated, “I am filled with joy this morning because we have been able to launch the sporting events and everything is going well.” He attributed the smooth proceedings to the efforts of the province’s security forces, emphasizing gratitude towards the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Fatherland (VDP) for ensuring the security of the events.



Herman Bado, the chairman of the third commission and an examiner, noted that the consultations started on May 5, and reported no major issues except for minor delays. The Provincial Director, Joseph Karambiri, urged examiners to adhere to evaluation procedures and encouraged candidates to follow the instructions diligently.
