Djibouti International Fair Returns for 2023

Djibouti – After a four-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Djibouti International Fair (DIF) is set to make its comeback. Scheduled from December 3 to 10, 2023, at the Djibouti International Exhibition Centre, this event marks the 3rd edition of the influential fair.

According to Africa News Agency, the previous edition in 2018 attracted economic stakeholders from around twenty countries, bringing together three hundred exhibitors from diverse sectors and over 11,000 local and international visitors. This success underscores Djibouti’s role as a pivotal business hub in the region, fostering economic integration.

The fair not only strengthens regional and international ties but also showcases Djibouti’s economic resilience and position as a commercial and logistical nexus. It aims to enhance trade relationships and stimulate investment opportunities.

This year’s event will highlight Djibouti’s private sector, showcasing national companies, crafts, and innovations under the theme “Made in Djibouti”. The fair serves as a gateway to other burgeoning African markets, featuring roundtables, B2B exchanges, and cultural activities to promote Djibouti’s economic and cultural landscape.
