Directorate of Culture Promotes Domestic Tourism Awareness Among Dassa Students

Sanguie: The Provincial Directorate of Culture, Arts and Tourism (DPCCAT) of Sanguie held an awareness session on domestic tourism for students of the Dassa departmental high school on Wednesday, as part of the implementation of its 2025 activity program. The meeting focused on promoting domestic tourism, an area that the DPCCAT aims to strengthen among young people. The discussions allowed participants to understand essential concepts such as tourism, its types and forms, as well as the various tourist attractions and attractions available in the country.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the animation team stressed the importance for students to better understand the natural and cultural riches of Burkina Faso, and above all to contribute to their appreciation. DPCCAT officials highlighted that visiting national tourist sites is a way to strengthen cultural identity and support local stakeholders. The President of the Nando Professional Tourist Guides Association also shared his field experience, giving students a concrete insight into the opportunities related to the tourism sector.
