Astana: The Ambassador of Burkina Faso to Moscow, Aristide Ludovic Tapsoba, presented his credentials on Wednesday as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Burkina Faso to Kazakhstan, to the President of the Republic, Kassym-Jomart Tokaev. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received the credentials of Ambassador Tapsoba, who was recently appointed to the post, at the presidential palace in Astana on Wednesday.
According to Burkina Information Agency, President Tokayev expressed his gratitude to the President of Faso for accrediting an ambassador to his country. He hoped that relations between Ouagadougou and Astana would be further strengthened under the mandate of the Burkinabe diplomat. For his part, Ambassador Tapsoba conveyed to President Tokayev a message of friendship and fraternal greetings from the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor©. He also reaffirmed his willingness to work to strengthen cooperation between Burkina Faso and the Republic of Kazakhstan.
