Nakambe: As part of the 'Deme Sira' solidarity month, the Regional Director of Humanitarian Action and National Solidarity for Nakambe, Boukare Zabsonre, accompanied by local media, recorded a message from His Majesty Naaba Guiguempole, Dima of Zoungrantenga and King of Tenkodogo. In this message, the Dima calls on the population to strengthen solidarity in the face of security and humanitarian challenges.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the national solidarity campaign 'Deme Sira', initiated by the Ministry in charge of Humanitarian Action, aims to promote solidarity according to the socio-cultural realities of the country and to strengthen the resilience of communities.

In his message, the King emphasized the importance of indigenous values, including sharing, hospitality, joking relationships, community savings groups, collective work such as the sossoaga in Moore, and traditional mediation mechanisms. Popular celebrations like the zambende, the rilgre, and the nabasga were also cited as practices that contribute to strengthening social cohesion.

His Majesty called on the population to pay particular attention to vulnerable people, including internally displaced persons (IDPs), orphans, widows of security forces and volunteers, as well as families in precarious situations. "They need our support," he declared, recalling that solidarity is also an expression of patriotism and civic engagement.

The Dima of Zoungrantenga expressed his gratitude to the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) for their efforts in securing the territory. He also commended the contributions of the host communities, who are committed to welcoming internally displaced persons.

He urged the people to participate in the activities planned in the region, namely the passage of the national solidarity caravan, blood donation, fundraising and local support actions, especially during this harvest period.

He urged citizens to support the security forces and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP), to refrain from joining hostile groups, and to maintain mutual support within their communities. He stated that unity and mobilization would ensure the success of this first edition of the "Deme Sira" campaign in the Nakambe region.
