Developing High-Quality Research Reports: The MSP Strengthens the Capacities of Its Staff

Ouagadougou: The Ministry of Servants of the People (MSP) is training its agents in the preparation of study notes, on January 14 and 15, 2026, in Ouagadougou. "We create rights, we accept rights, we refuse rights to individuals and organizations. Therefore, our decision must be perfectly justified, easily understandable by all citizens, hence this morning's training," he stressed. According to Burkina Information Agency, Alfred Simpore Tegawende, Director General of the Civil Service (DGFP), emphasized the ongoing requests faced by the Ministry of Public Service (MSP) from civil servants, highlighting the importance of upholding the law at all levels. These requests often require research and lead to decisions being made. In such a context, it is advisable that those responsible for this task receive capacity building to harmonize their practices. Furthermore, the reports must be of high quality, enabling the authorities and other recipients to easily make the necessary decisions. During the two days of t his training, participants will receive a presentation on the theoretical overview of the basic principles of preparing a study note. This will be followed by practical case studies during which participants will exchange ideas about the requests they face on a daily basis. Stressing that he values this training, the Minister of Servants of the People, Mathias TRAORE, invited the participants to rich and constructive exchanges. He also expressed his hope that this training would be successful for everyone and that its benefits would extend to the entire ministry.
