Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic Diplomacy and Openness, Kostas Fragogiannis, will travel to North Macedonia on a two-day working visit on February 10 and 11, 2022.
On Thursday afternoon, February 10, Mr. Fragogiannis will meet with the Minister of Finance of North Macedonia Mr. Fatmir Besimi and will visit the Stopanska Banka headquarters where he will meet with the leadership of the Bank. On the same evening, the Deputy Minister will attend a dinner to be hosted in his honor by the Deputy Prime Minister of North Macedonia for European Affairs Bojan Marichic and the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Investments Fatmir Bytyqi.
On Friday, February 11, Mr. Fragogiannis will have successive meetings with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia Fatmire Isaki, Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs Bojan Marichic, Minister of Economy Kreshnik Bekteshi and with Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Investments, Fatmir Bytyqi. Finally, Mr. Fragogiannis will hold a meeting with the Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Dimitar Kovachevski.
The agenda of the talks between the Deputy Minister and the officials of the newly elected government of North Macedonia includes the two countries’ bilateral economic relations and the possibilities for their expansion and strengthening.
