In his efforts to further support Greek entrepreneurship, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic Diplomacy and Openness, Kostas Fragogiannis, visited the facilities of two innovative Greek enterprises in Drama, today, Wednesday, September 7, 2022.
The first company WONDERPLANT, which is active in the field of agricultural production, is developing cutting-edge methods of production, packaging, and distribution of agricultural products, while the second RAYCAP, manufactures high-tech equipment.
In particular, WONDERPLANT has been operating a model hydroponic unit for tomato cultivation in Drama since 2011, with a state-of-the-art glass greenhouse and complex systems of insulation, shading, and electronic control of the microclimate of cultivation. Furthermore, an integrated system of water collection, filtration, and recycling is also used as well as advanced systems for sorting, packaging, and storage of products.
As for the company RAYCAP – which, in addition to its facilities in Drama, operates seven plants internationally -, it specializes in systems for protection against sudden voltage fluctuations in power grids, renewable energy plants (photovoltaic, wind), industrial facilities and telecommunications infrastructure. In recent years, the company has placed great emphasis on systems related to the development of fifth-generation mobile networks -5G.

During his visit to the Industrial Area of Drama, the Deputy Minister was accompanied by the New Democracy MP (Drama), Konstantinos Blouchos.
