Representing, this year as well, the Greek Government, I received the Holy and Everlasting Fire from the hands of His Beatitude Patriarch of Jerusalem Theophilos III, with respect and humility.
We had the great honor, together with the Greek delegation, to attend the Holy Fire Ceremony at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, participating in the transport of the Holy Fire to Athens, from where it will be distributed to all the Holy Dioceses across Greece, along with the message of the Resurrection.
Let us wish that the Fire of the Lord’s Resurrection may guide us, strengthen our faith, and revive the hope of all of us for a better tomorrow. Let us wish that the message of the victory of life over death may reach the whole world.
