Ryazan: The death toll has risen to 23 after a fire broke out at a production facility in central Russia’s Ryazan region, local media reported on Monday.

According to Namibia Press Agency, earlier, the regional operational headquarters stated that 20 people were killed and 134 others were injured in the accident. A fire erupted on Friday morning at a factory in Lesnoy, Shilovsky District, according to the headquarters.

An investigation has been launched into a breach of industrial safety requirements in connection with the incident.
