Zagazig—A severe train collision in Sharqiya Province, north of Cairo, resulted in at least two fatalities and 29 injuries on Saturday, as reported by Egypt’s Ministry of Health.
According to Namibia Press Agency, the incident occurred in Zagazig City where two trains collided, leading to immediate emergency responses. The Ministry of Health disclosed that a total of 39 ambulances were promptly dispatched to the accident site to assist the injured and manage the scene.
The ministry also highlighted that the reported figures are preliminary, with ongoing rescue operations potentially revealing more about the extent of the casualties and damages caused by the collision.
