Dates Set for Morocco 2025 Africa Cup of Nations


RABAT — The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed the dates for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, scheduled to be held in Morocco from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the CAF also announced that the draw for the CAN Morocco 2025 qualifiers will take place on July 4, 2024, in Johannesburg, South Africa. The event is set to be hosted at the SuperSport studios at 2:30 p.m. local time. The draw will include 48 nations, among them the winners of the preliminary round — Chad, Eswatini, Liberia, and South Sudan — who will be divided into 12 groups of four teams each. Notable participants in the draw include reigning champions Ivory Coast and other strong teams such as Algeria, Egypt, and Cameroon.
