Ouagadougou: The commune of Dano emerged as the winner of the Super Trophy for Urban Municipalities in Burkina Faso, securing two prestigious awards during a ceremony held in the Burkinabe capital.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event, which took place at CENASA in Ouagadougou, saw the commune of Dano, represented by its President of the Special Delegation (PDS), Denis Zanr©, receive dual accolades. Dano was awarded the city trophy along with a certificate, and the Super Trophy of Urban Communes of Burkina Faso, both of which were received by PDS Denis Zanr©.

The awards were given to municipal PDS in recognition of their contributions to the development of basic social infrastructure, which has played a significant role in alleviating the population's hardships and fostering local development.

PDS Denis Zanr© expressed that the honors belonged to the dedicated and resilient people of Dano. He credited the achievements to the special delegation and the municipal administration for their dedication and professionalism. The trophies were dedicated to the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the residents of Dano.

Prefect, PDS of Dano, remarked that these distinctions serve as motivation for the municipality to continue its efforts in providing quality basic social services to the community in a disciplined and orderly fashion.
