Dano: The traditional rise of the colors of August dedicated to youth

The Secretary General of the province of Ioba, André Lankoandé chaired on Monday August 07, 2023, the monthly ceremony of raising national colors in Dano which is dedicated to youth.

The monthly raising ceremony of the national colors of August in Ioba, took place at the town hall of Dano. It was dedicated to youth.

The president of the provincial youth council of Ioba Aristide Youorikiè Dabiré, also 1st vice-president of the special municipal delegation of Dano, took part in this ceremony alongside the provincial authorities.

In unison, all the personalities present sang the national anthem the Ditanyè during the raising of the flag.

At the end of the military ceremony, the prefect, president of the special delegation (PDS) of the municipality of Dano, Denis Zanré expressed his pride in receiving all the constituted bodies and thanked them for their mobilization.

According to the PDS of Dano, the national colors symbolize our unity, national solidarity but also our hope for a new Burkina, reconciled and freed from the terrorist hydra. He called on people to stick together.

The secretary general of the province of Ioba André Lankoandé, representing the High Commissioner, thanked all the actors of the different structures for the service rendered to the populations.

He also thanked the officials of Dano town hall and the provincial youth council for their welcome. Mr. Lankoandé recalled that our security situation is not good.

“This is why each of us must remain vigilant and remain an actor in his own security by informing the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) of any abnormal situations observed,” he continued. He wished a good month of August to all the population in peace and security.
