Bobo-Dioulasso: Mandated by the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor©, and the Prime Minister, Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ou©draogo, Minister Mathias Traor©, accompanied by regional authorities, went to convey to the land chief and all customary people a message from the highest authorities on this day dedicated to customs and traditions in Burkina Faso.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Minister Traor© engaged in discussions with the organizers of the event, who are the custodians of these traditions. The minister's mission was to deliver a message from the Head of State emphasizing the importance of unity among the traditional leaders and the broader community to foster national development.
Minister Traor© highlighted that the Customs and Traditions Day (JCT) was established to allow followers of traditional religion to celebrate customs and traditions, while also affirming the secular nature of the State. He emphasized the importance of fostering brotherhood among the followers of tradition.
Minister Traor© expressed that the presence of the ministerial delegation should not be seen as selective support but as a gesture of solidarity with all followers of tradition. He reiterated the Government's support and commitment to the organization and the values it represents.
