Okahandja: Okahandja residents will be placed under a curfew with restricted movement as a security measure following the brutal murders of three minor children in the town. President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah announced this on Sunday afternoon, stating that the curfew is expected to intensify street patrols to keep the town safe.
According to Namibia Press Agency, the announcement comes after the tragic murders of five-year-old Ingrid Maasdorp, six-year-old Rosalind Fabian, and 15-year-old Beyonce !Kharuxas. The President emphasized the importance of community cooperation, urging all residents to adhere to the forthcoming rules and regulations set by law enforcement.
The Head of State called upon community members to assist law enforcement in capturing the perpetrators involved in the murders, highlighting the critical role of public support in ensuring the safety and security of the town.
