Cultural and Sporting Competitions in Barga Promote Resilience and Patriotism

Barga: The President of the special delegation of Barga, W. Augustin Ilboudo, inaugurated the Organization of Sport and Culture in Primary School (OSCEP) competitions this weekend in the educational district, with learners, partners, and education stakeholders present to witness the event, AIB observed on site.

According to Burkina Information Agency, students from various schools in the Barga Basic Education District will participate in sports and cultural events over the next two months, vying for prestigious trophies. The initiative aims to promote values of peace, patriotism, resilience, and community spirit among the students, values that Barga District Education Officer, Augustin Ilboudo, encourages throughout the competition.

Daouda SiguE, head of the Barga basic education district, highlighted that these events are crucial for fostering friendships and connections among students. The Council for Basic Education (CCEB) supports the notion that regular participation in such activities significantly contributes to the holistic development of students. SiguE expressed a hope that all participants will leave the competitions with a sense of fulfillment and happiness.

Sadou Lega, representing the DPEPPNF Yatenga, praised the successful organization of the events, noting the high levels of enthusiasm and mobilization. He delivered words of encouragement from the provincial director, commending the Barga educational community for their dedication and hard work.
